Our School

Welcome to Yoakum Primary School in Yoakum, Texas during the 2023-2024 school year!  I am very excited see what this year brings in terms of growth, personalities and events.  Our campus theme is "every student, every day".  This means that our campus will daily focus on meeting the academic, behavioral and social needs of each and every student.  

I consider this level of education to be the foundation for all academic progress.  Our goal is to consistently provide the structure and expectation for each student to become a strong reader, a critical thinker and a well-rounded student.  

Our staff is dedicated to creating engaging lessons and activities that encourage students to question the world around them and be eager to absorb new information.  

I encourage our parents/guardians to be an active participant in their student's learning process.  A school can be a strong force in a child's life but adding in the support from parents/guardians provides that child with the extra support to be that much more successful!
